Roasting nuts brings out the full flavor of any nut.  Roast nuts for any purpose, whether tossed into salads, topping desserts, using as a snack or grinding and mixing into baked goods. Hazelnuts and fresh Spanish peanuts should be rubbed, once cooled, to remove their skins.

On a plain cookie sheet, spread the nuts out in a single layer.  Roast for 10 minutes in a pre-heated 350 degree F oven.  Let cool completely before handling.
