Festive Green Beans and Bacon

7 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
2 - 9-ounce packages frozen whole green beans, thawed
6 medium carrots, peeled and cut into small dice
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper

 Melt the butter over medium low heat and add carrots and garlic.  Cook about 5 minutes, until crisp tender.  Stir green beans and pepper into carrots.  Heat another 3-5 minutes until beans are hot.  Transfer to a serving bowl and top with crumbled bacon.
